H. Lee Carman, Founder and President

H. Lee Carman, founder of Pain Solutions, Inc. has nearly 25 years of experience as a physical therapist, primarily dedicated to the research, evaluation, and treatment of complex pain conditions. He has served as Clinical Instructor for both the University of New Mexico and Regis University, teaching Ph.D. candidates in Physical Therapy. He has also served as Clinical Director for various medical and rehabilitation practices. Lee was formerly the administrator of Pikes Peak Pain Professionals, where he led a team of medical and ancillary professionals in the evaluation and treatment of pain conditions for clients from across the United States.

Lee is currently a consultant to numerous sports performance companies, utilizing his innovative therapy, conditioning, and biomechanical concepts to improve the performance of elite, Olympic, and professional athletes.

He has completed training with the Biomedical Acupuncture Institute which certified him in the use of the Integrative Neuromuscular AcuReflex System.

Jody Falletta Carman, Co-Founder & CEO

Jody works behind-the-scenes on strategic planning, marketing, and business development. She co-founded Pain Solutions out of a desire to help people suffering chronic pain, as she once did. She has 15 years of experience in international marketing, trade, and development. She has a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Colorado.

Laurel Alpert, Office Manager

Laurel handles the administrative side of the practice. She has over twenty years of management and marketing experience, primarily in public and private-sector international business and economic development. She served in three gubernatorial administrations as Deputy Director and later Director of the Colorado International Trade Office. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in art history from the University of California Los Angeles.

After an experience with chronic pain a few years ago, Laurel realized how important it was to have all areas of a patient’s care run as smoothly as possible, including the administrative aspects. She decided to dedicate her time to working in this area. As Pain Solutions’ Office Manager, Laurel applies her management and customer service experience to helping patients with scheduling, insurance, and other administrative needs.
